It was frequent on Ancient Egypt to represent the humane figure and so many examples are conserved. These ones are usually images of gods with anthropomorphic shape or images of the pharaoh and other personalities related to the royal family, but also we saw figures of servants and common people doing every day duties.

In all representations the human body followed a proportion canon that, depending on its size, determined the importance of each one. The face of the character showed information too. Its physiognomy, often schematic, told us about the masculine or feminine beauty concept of each time, indicated the social condition; furthermore the looking of the face, completely codified, and the intensity of the expression referred to the period when the image was made.
